Join in the celebrations on the 20th anniversary of the 2012 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Ladies Day
For the third consecutive year, Ladies Day will again be a popular addition to the Championships. Women will again be invited to ‘dress to impress’ on Thursday, 23th February and stand in line to win some fantastic prizes. This initiative was run in conjunction with Gulf News Tabloid. The top 10 best dressed women will have their photos featured in Gulf News Tabloid. Of these 10, the best two selected by some of our top players will be presented with the highly sought-after Centre Court tickets to the women’s final.

Kids Clinics In WTA and ATP Weeks
On Monday 20th and 27th  February more than 1000 students from over 20 schools around the United Arab Emirates will fill the stands at the Dubai Tennis Stadium. The ever-successful Dubai Duty Free Kids’ Day will run on the morning of the first day of competition where a coaching clinic will be held at the Aviation Club, headed by Clark Francis Tennis. Top class players will be invited to give the aspiring young players some tips and even join in with play. The participants will also be treated to an autograph and photo session following the clinic with the Tennis Stars.

Tennis Emirates Clinic
February 21 and 28 will see more of the UAE’s budding tennis stars being given the opportunity of a lifetime, rubbing shoulders with star players during the WTA and ATP weeks of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. Young Tennis Emirates players of all ages enjoy interacting with the stars, getting tips on their serves and backhand stokes (before being given tickets to actually watch the pros in action on centre court).

Special Needs Clinic
As the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships enters day three on February 22, top players for the tournament will offer their help at the Dubai Duty Free Special Needs Clinic. The Dubai Duty Free Special Needs Clinic will be attended by many children from the following three schools: The Dubai Center for Special Needs, Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre and Al Noor. The official mascots for the Championships will also be on hand for photo opportunities and for the children to enjoy.
