Official Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2013 Mobile App Launched

Key features of the App include live scoring updates and match results; daily schedule of play; latest news updates; WTA and ATP player information, radio interviews featuring play-by-play coverage, as well as an event guide and general visitor information.
Fans and visitors can also access video coverage of the all the match action including the latest highlights and player interviews; and photos from the tournament.
Commenting on the App, Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman of tournament owners and organisers Dubai Duty Free said “The App has proven to be a wonderful source of up to date information for tennis fans everywhere. Everything to do with the Dubai duty Free Championships is available on the App, making it a must have for anyone interested in the event.”
The App is available for iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry devices, and can be downloaded by searching ‘Free Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships’ from the Apple App Store and Android Market.
The WTA tournament which kicks off on Monday 18 February features an incredible eight of the world’s top 10 players, including world number one and Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka, Olympic, US Open and Wimbledon Champion Serena Williams as well as former Grand Slam winners Petra Kvitova, Ana Ivanovic and Samantha Stosur and 2012 defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska.
Once the dust has settled in the WTA Tour event the ATP World Tour arrives in town with a stellar line-up that includes defending champion Roger Federer, world number one Novak Djokovic, flamboyant Frenchman Jo-Wilfriend Tsonga, Davis Cup winner Tomas Berdych and 2009 US Open winner Juan Martin Del Potro.
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, which takes place from 18th February to 2nd March, is owned and organised by Dubai Duty Free and held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Tickets for the event are on sale from the Box Office at the Dubai Tennis Stadium, Garhoud which is open from 9am to 9pm daily.
