Juan Martin del Potro opens his 2014 Dubai campaign against wild card Somdev Devvarman.

Tournament number two seed and ATP world ranked number 4 Juan Martin del Potro took a trip to the airport on Sunday ahead of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships this week. Del Potro was invited by Emirates to experience the ultimate in luxury with their private Airbus A319 aircraft, Emirates Executive. 

The jet offers luxurious amenities from private suites, a spacious lounge for conference or dining and a shower spa. It is the only jet available for private charter from Emirates and the offerings are tailored to meet the most discerning traveller’s requirements.

Del Potro has lost in the semifinals of this event for the past two years, losing to Roger Federer in 2012 and to Novak Djokovic in 2013. The 25-year-old opened his season by capturing his 18th ATP World Tour title in Sydney. He opens his 2014 Dubai campaign against wild card Somdev Devvarman in the first round.
